Richter
About
Richter by Leander Herzog and Richard Nadler is a generative code-based work that constructs a richly layered visual environment through algorithmic motion and high-resolution texture. The piece unfolds in real time, blending Richard Nadler’s high-resolution textures with Leander Herzog’s algorithmic precision to create a dynamic, evolving composition. Multiple layers of color and data are mixed, moved, and painted over in real time. The result is a textured field in flux, where surfaces accumulate meaning and memory over time.
As the second collaboration between the artists—following their earlier work Gerhard—Richter deepens their shared investigation into the intersection of image, data, and time. What emerges is a world of boundless parametric variation, a living surface in which structure and spontaneity coexist. Viewers are invited not only to observe, but to explore—to linger within the piece’s temporal depth and uncover its quiet intricacies. Every frame is a fragment of an infinite, unfolding archive.

Living Art
Living Art is our collection of generative works, created through code—systems built by artists to unfold autonomously over time. Each piece is governed by a unique set of rules and parameters, often incorporating randomness, variation, or interaction. It’s art that is constantly evolving and infinite.
