Alex Maltsev

Alex Maltsev is a Ukrainian-born visual artist based in Florida, working at the intersection of 3D art and art direction. Self-taught, he has spent more than fifteen years in CGI, with a practice centred on particle systems and the look development of motion, building dense, luminous imagery out of simulated matter. Composition and sound sit alongside the image in his work rather than behind it. His personal projects include Blinded By Colors, Flowless and Hidden Ways. He also teaches, sharing process through tutorials and workshops with other 3D artists, and his motion and 3D work has been recognised repeatedly by Behance.
