Anastasia Lapotko

Anastasia Lapotko is a 3D artist and graphic designer based in Barcelona. Her work builds generative systems in which millions of particles move through space according to rules she sets, gathering into shapes that hold for a moment before dispersing. Geometry of Heat works this way, an animated system rather than a fixed image. She works in real time with TouchDesigner, and her practice moves between 3D design and generative composition, treating the computer as something that grows an image rather than draws one.
