David McLeod

David McLeod is an Australian artist and motion designer based in New York, working in 3D. His practice moves across lettering, image-making, motion graphics and stage visuals, built from simulation and experimental material, where saturated colour and organic movement give digital form a physical weight. He describes the work as reaching for the point where simulation becomes sensation and the digital becomes visceral, inviting the viewer into the screen through hypnotic motion and otherworldly form. Generative systems are central to how each image is made rather than used to illustrate a fixed idea. He has exhibited with Sotheby's Digitally Native, the Powerhouse Museum and Vivid Sydney.
