Davy Evans

Davy Evans is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Brighton. He fuses analogue and digital technique to make ethereal abstract imagery and moving image, using experimental photographic methods with light and liquid to reproduce the colour, form and distortion found in the natural world. One ongoing series captures refracted light; another explores in-camera distortion drawn from reflections in nature. He came to the work from graphic design, and the compositional discipline of that training stays visible in the images.
