Dominikus Baur

Dominikus Baur is a German digital and generative artist working between data visualisation and generative design. He holds a doctorate in media informatics from the University of Munich, where his research addressed making personal archives of media and messages manageable, and he is now Professor for Generative Design and Creative AI at Hochschule Munich. His visualisation work has been made for institutions including the OECD. The generative side of the practice treats the same material differently, letting a system produce an image rather than explain a dataset.
