About
Caught Nebula by Martin Naumann is a rendered mixed media work that visualizes a plasma-like nebula, confined within strict spatial boundaries. Oscillating particles swirl and collide, forming dense networks of color and energy that continuously shift and reconfigure. Though seemingly chaotic, their motion obeys an unseen order—defined not by structure, but by constraint.
Color bleeds into the frame’s edge like pressure against a barrier, expanding until it is devoured or rerouted by new formations. Caught Nebula captures the tension of emergence within limits—a visual meditation on entropy, containment, and the infinite permutations that unfold even in finite space.
Curator’s note
A vivid meditation on chaos constrained—where swirling energy meets rigid boundaries.
