Newnome Beauton

Newnome Beauton is the working name of Artem Grigorov, a generative artist with a doctorate in molecular biology. He has used real-time rendering since 2019 to explore mathematical and biological systems as aesthetic material, and the scientific training shows in the work: growth, division and pattern formation appear as visual behaviour rather than as illustration. He works in TouchDesigner and publishes tutorials so that others can follow the methods he develops.
