Roman De Giuli

Roman De Giuli is a German photographer and filmmaker based in Nuremberg, working in practical effects and experimental fluid art. He applies fluids, powders and pigment to paper and films the reaction in 8K through a macro lens at extreme reproduction scales, so that a few centimetres of paper becomes a landscape. Nothing is computer generated. He studies how organic patterns behave and move, then assembles the results into experimental montages with sound, and runs the Terracollage visual arts studio.
