Rus Khasanov

Rus Khasanov is an artist, designer and photographer whose abstract images are made from liquid, pigment and light in front of a lens rather than inside a computer. He has been building these layered visual worlds since 2011, working in the tension between chaos and order, with results that read as smoke, oil or water finding their own form. The practice runs across photography, video, illustration and experimental typography. He has made work for Katy Perry's residency PLAY, and uses no CGI or AI.
