About the artist
Tim van der Wiel is a Dutch visual artist and 3D filmmaker whose digital art practice emerged from years of research and experimentation within large-scale screen production and motion design. Technical exploration testing spatial formats, lighting systems, materials, and generative workflows gradually transformed into an autonomous artistic language.
His work focuses on evolving patterns, shifting geometries, and controlled color transitions, building immersive visual compositions that balance precision with subtle complexity. Created primarily for architectural screens and ambient environments, his pieces are designed as continuous, contemplative loops not narrative works, but visual systems that inhabit a space and unfold over time.
Working under FrameMaker.tv, Tim produces both independent artworks and site-specific commissions for large-format installations worldwide.
